Join Us for our Young Agent's Community Service Project with Citizens Caring for Children!

Make a difference in the lives of children in foster care by volunteering your time and energy!  

About Citizens Caring for Children:

For 40 years, Citizens Caring for Children has provided vital resources and basic necessities to children in foster care. Founded in 1984 by an Edmond foster family, the organization was born from firsthand experience with the challenges foster children face, such as the lack of personal belongings and essential items.  

Today, Citizens Caring for Children continues its mission to bring hope, change lives, and build healthier futures for over 1,800 Oklahoma foster children annually through programs like the Resource Center, Mobile Foster Futures, Back2School, and Joy4Kids.  

Volunteer Activities:

As a volunteer, you'll support the organization’s important work by helping with tasks like:  

- Organizing, tagging, folding, and hanging clothing  

- Assembling hygiene kits and repackaging underwear  

- Stickering books  

- Cleaning and organizing the warehouse and Resource Center  

- Packing orders for the Mobile Foster Futures program  

What to Wear:

- **Dress comfortably** in clothing suitable for indoor activities.  

- **Closed-toe shoes** are required.  

Your efforts will directly impact the lives of foster children, providing them with the essentials they need to thrive. We can’t wait to see you there!
