Conversational Capacity refers to the ability – of an individual or a team – to engage in constructive, learning-focused dialogue about difficult subjects, in challenging circumstances, and across tough boundaries. A core competence, high conversational capacity is characterized by the ability to engage in conversations that are simultaneously candid and courageous yet curious and humble. A team with high conversational capacity can perform well even when dealing with their most troublesome issues.
