Agency Position Description Development Toolkit Overview:

Agencies are as different as the people inside them and often have different position expectations based on the type of agency, their organizational standards, the carrier partners they work with clients they serve.  Your agency specific position descriptions sometimes may even need to be customized for the person who is filling that role as a result of their unique background, industry experience and expertise.  In that light, the sample position descriptions included in this toolkit are just that, samples to be a jumping off place to begin customizing the positional expectations for each person in your organization.  This should be the basis for their hire and referred back to in each formal performance review.  When changes in expectations occur, this document should be updated as well and communicated to the staff member. This toolkit contains over 15 different documents to help you begin framing your expectations for each person's position in your organization. 

All documents related to the hire and management of your staff should always be reviewed and vetted by legal counsel with a specific focus and experience in employee law in your state and the states in which you operate, BEFORE utilizing them with your team.
